Pingjian DING currently serves as an Associate Professor at the University of South China. Prior to joining the University of South China, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar and later promoted to a research associate at the School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, collaborating with Dr. Rong XU. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the College of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at Hunan University in 2019, supervised by Dr. Jiawei LUO. From August 2017 to September 2018, he was a visiting Ph.D. student at the biomedical informatics lab of Nanyang Technological University, supervised by Dr. Chee-Keong KWOH. His research primarily focuses on integrating machine learning and deep learning into biostatistical methodologies, particularly in neurological research, with a focus on addressing Alzheimer’s Disease.
